Connecting with thoughts - My thoughts and Me

Writers These days when I am struggling to write or even think of anything to write about I realize the greatness of the all time classics that have been written over the ages. To reader it just a book and an experience that he can read at his / her convenience. Not so for the writer. For the writer it is a painful journey of seeing the idea through, connecting the dots and much more. Someone mentioned to me that Ernest Hemingway wrote a book 32 times before he finally got it published, boy that's a lot of painstaking effort.  Again for the writer its not just words, they have to be words that tell a story, explain an idea, present / challenge a viewpoint, make a comment, create a picture and much much more. And while doing all this the words have to speak for the author, help him connect with the reader, be as explicit as possible creating a whole new meaning or perspective. That according to me is really something, no wonder writing has been a forte of a handf...

It's interesting to note that whatever I write ...appears to be 100% accurate. I hardly miss a single word, even when its actually not there. I read and re-read and find it to be perfectly all right. Then I go ahead and click on the publish post. And I feely happy about what I just published. Great. A few days later when I return to the post and read it again (which I rarely do) I find all the missing words really missing and amused by the fact, how could have I? But then that's the way of life or rather the way my writing as evolved. Today, at times, I really do make a conscious efforts to check out the missing words or even to check out if I put my thoughts correctly. This has helped  me reduce the number of mistakes. But, what I realised today is a strange similarity with life.
