Finally caught up on the movie Gully Boy and how I enjoyed watching it. The movie offers a lot of interesting life lessons to reflect and act upon. I have always believed that movies do offer great insights into life and present a different perspective which we probably miss out as we are too caught up in its daily routines. Then there comes a movie like Gully Boy with a breathe of fresh air and helps us look at life in new light. For when we watch movies we are not caught up in daily routines, but are a distant observer. So here is rundown of few life lessons which the movie Gully Boy brings to the fore: 1. Crude as the title may read or sound, I could not think of anything more apt to convey what I intend to. The other day while surfing on YouTube I happened to catch glimpse of a scene from the movie "Rush" where Nicky Lauda meets his wife Marlene. The ability to enchant the audience with your presentation skills still remains a big challenge. Even after numerous books and countless courses speakers still fail to engage their audience. It is not that they lack knowledge or understanding of the subject. In fact, the knowledge they posses is unparalleled. Throw them a question and they will answer. Put them in a situation where a solution is nowhere in sight and they will solve it with ease. Don't know what's the future is going to be like, ask them and they will predict trends that not only will enhance your understanding of the subject in question but also prepare you for the same. But...when it comes to communicating and disseminating the same through presentation or a public speaking engagement they struggle. They may not be prepared one might say but they are.
